Nausea and Vomiting in Pregnancy (NVP)

Fluid and Support Stay

If Nausea and Vomiting in Pregnancy (NVP) is affecting your wellbeing it is time to reach for support. At Juno Specialists we elevate the care women receive for NVP. We listen to you and create a dynamic and comprehensive plan to support you.

We offer One-on-One appointments with GPs, Obstetricians, Acupuncturists and others. Your GP or Obstetrician may also recommend you attend Juno’s Fluid and Support Stay.

NVP Fluid and Support Stay

Fluid and Support Stay offers early and comprehensive, compassionate and multidimensional, adaptive on site care.

This includes a combination of IV hydration and other evidence based holistic supportive treatments to improve your lived experience of pregnancy. The purpose is to avoid further deterioration and create a clear path towards getting better faster.

This service is appropriate for those experiencing moderate to severe symptoms requiring rehydration with IV fluids.

  • Early and intentional support is crucial. We encourage you to seek support for NVP through one-on-one consultations as soon as you feel unwell.

Your Juno Specialists GP can help determine if NVP Fluid and Support Stay could be beneficial for your care and recovery.

  • EMSN may reduce out-of-pocket cost for Fluid and Support Stay dramatically.

How it works: If you’ve spent a certain amount out-of-pocket in a calendar year on services that attract a Medicare rebate, you become eligible for a higher rebate from Medicare. This includes all family members on the same Medicare card*. The higher rebate means you get back up to 85% of the total fee - the basic rebate PLUS 80% of the Out of Pocket gap.

If you have engaged in IVF or paid for a private Obstetrician this calendar year, you will likely be eligible.

You can easily check if you have crossed the Safety Net Threshold on your MyGov app.
