Fees
We are a privately billing clinic.
If you hold a valid Medicare card a portion of your consultation may be reimbursed by Medicare. We recommend reviewing the Extended Medicare Safety Net information below as this may reduce your out-of-pocket costs significantly.
We offer long initial appointments as standard, to allow time and detailed care.
All payments by card incur a small processing surcharge. We do not accept cash or bank transfer.
All fees must be paid for at the conclusion of your appointment on the day. Late fees apply for unpaid invoices. Detailed fees and cancellation policies are notated below.
Our fees are valid as of Monday 9th September 2024.

Our Postnatal and Breastfeeding Day Stay is more accessible to families if they have met the Extended Medicare Safety Net (EMSN). More details can be found below. If you have had private Obstetric or fertility care in the current calendar year, you will most likely be eligible.
Families need to confirm reaching the threshold directly with Medicare (can be done via the Medicare or MyGov app) and babies need to be added to their safety net family manually.

Fees and Cancellation Policies
-
Doctor consultation fees are based on time and the type of service provided.
Any medical consumables such as, and not limited to, non-government funded vaccines and dressing changes are charged in addition to the consultation. The fees listed on this page are a guide only.
-
Telehealth appointments are available.
Medicare rebates for telehealth appointments are limited to existing patients of the practice who have been seen by one of our doctors, face-to-face, in the previous 12 months only.
If you have not seen a doctor face-to-face in the past 12 months you will not be eligible for any applicable Medicare rebates.
Infants under 12 months are exempt from this restriction and Medicare rebates apply.
All telehealth appointments are billed the same as a face-to-face appointment.
-
The Extended Medicare Safety Net (EMSN) program provides large rebates to patients to drastically reduce out-of-pocket costs.
How it works : If you’ve spent a certain amount out-of-pocket in a calendar year on services that attract a Medicare rebate, you become eligible for a higher rebate from Medicare. This includes all family members on the same Medicare card (note children must be added manually by the head of family).
The higher rebate means you get back approximately 80% of any gap for a Medicare rebated service.
If you have undertaken IVF or paid for a private Obstetrician this calendar year, you will likely be eligible for the EMSN.
Please note we are unable to opt you into this service, as it must be done by the individual via your MyGov or Medicare app.
-
No referrals are required to see a Juno GP or Allied Health Practitioner.
Paediatricians require a GP referral to access medicare rebates. Referrals can be emailed to hello@junospecialists.au.
For our Postnatal and Breastfeeding Day Stay, no referral is required.
For our Nausea and Vomiting in Pregnancy Fluid and Support Stay, no referral is required.
-
We respect your time and ask the same in return. As we provide long appointments, we require 12 hours notice for appointment cancellations. Cancellations less than 12 hours prior to your appointment will incur a cancellation fee as follows:
15 minute appointment: $30
30 minute appointment: $60
45 minute appointment: $90
60 minute appointment: $120
-
Gift Vouchers are available. Call us on 9910 4004 or email us at hello@junospecialists.au for further details.
