This is the Juno Specialists team.

It’s tempting to look at this photo and see a bunch of gorgeous humans. But it’s the layers that exist behind the perceptible beauty of the photo that flood me with joy.

Let me let you in on what I see. One persons tangible experience of the incredible humans in this photo.

I see the phenomenal women’s health GP I’ve been collaborating with to offer comprehensive care to women living with chronic pelvic pain.

I see the compassionate, knowledgeable paediatrician that supported the baby while a GP, nurse and I supported the mother.

I see the passionate psychologist I’ve worked alongside to bring nervous systems back to a state of regulation so folks can walk through what they’re walking through more grounded and alive.

I see the incredible GP and nurse team that ran the fluids while I did the pins for pregnancy sickness.

I see the grounded, wise GP I’m working with to support perimenopause with great outcomes sprouting from our combined care approaches.

And I see her because I see the people that belong in this photo but couldn’t be there... We are a team even when we’re not in the same place at the same time.

I see sub-teams that have developed to support women through certain experiences just so.

I see the memory of hundreds of treatment room door knocks and case discussions. The handovers and introductions and updates.

I see all the respect and curiosity we hold individually and collectively to elevate outcomes by leaning into each other’s skills and tools.

I see the familiarity and cohesiveness that have been hard won and formed strong.

I see one thousand tiny connection points holding women and families more steadily, compassionately and wholly. The definition of ‘patient-centred care’.

I see the practitioners and beautiful support staff that deliver a level of care that ensures women and families are given the humanity, autonomy and multi-dimentiality they deserve.

It’s all there. Buzzing beneath and within this photo. The Most Magical Thing i’ve ever seen clinically.

So yes, in this photo I do see beauty. But the deepest, most real, rare, connected and genuine beauty there is.

And that - is Juno Specialists.

We would love to be a part of your healthcare and support team.
